Synopsis

We now find sex everywhere, films, TV spots etc..
However, daughters and mothers still play a blind game
Daughters lie to their mothers about their sex life and their mothers feign to ignore or insist to tell that they completely “trust” their daughter
Then it follows a shocking revelation of mothers unknown past
Why this comedy is happening and until when it would repeat over?
Director who is herself a daughter facing this dilemma decides to meet other mothers and daughters in search of an answer..

 

Director's Statement

Daughters and mothers living in a same house take an ambiguous attitude about the sex or do not tell a word about it. Daughters even lie to their mother or shut their mouse about their sex life and mothers lie to themselves refusing to see the reality as it is. As a result, they live as strangers not having a possibility to discuss about this issue even when they really should do. In this reality where it is impossible to be franc and communicate about sex even between mothers and daughters who should be the closest women, could we expect the women to do not be ashamed about their sex ? this documentary film shows how sex is mentioned between mothers and daughters and try to understand from the point of view of mothers and daughters respectively why this dialogue is so hard. It also aims to provide the base for the understanding in order to initiate a communication. Director as a daughter dealing with the same issue and also as a future mother, wishes to communicate with other Korean mothers and daughters.
