Synopsis

I have a strange sense of deja vu to Maseok industrial complex.
because I have a memory having a good time with foreign workers at Namdong industrial complex in Incheon in my childhood.
I find out that I have one memory different with my parents’. I started to wonder why I remember that differnetly.

 

Director's Statement

I don't want to use the word 'art' on what I have drawn. It is just a painting, and a belated diary.
It is more of a memory than a document, vague and blunt.
The past is recalled more delicately not by herself who has ambivalent feelings towards the old days as she hates the place we have left and ironically reminisces at the same time.
This is a story constructed by combining my own drawings with my mother's-who used to draw her own paintings too.
