Synopsis

The author of , Poet Dongjoo Yoon was born and raised in Gilim, China. The town is currently occupied by the Chosun people.
The descendants of those who had crossed the Dooman River to make a living or to support the independence movement are returning to their homeland. There are people in Garibong amongst the fresh air at the break of dawn and the headlights coming from cars transporting workers.

Director's Statement

I was befuddled when I found out Yoon¡¯s hometown. Maybe his poems are quite different from typical poems; I wanted to explore and interact with people who are from his hometown and use his dialect. The Chosen people we may have been able to meet quite easily but have not made an effort to. The real Chosen people, not the ones described in the news or in comedy shows.
