Synopsis
One day at university, an English literature professor told me. 'Literature may be a map of your life.' It slipped my mind that time, but I come to realize that as I graduated. Landscape of this society overlapped with the sentences of literature I've studied. However, I felt somewhat lost so often - so I started to write letters to the professor feeling desperate.
Director's Statement
One day, I unfolded a newspaper. '20's bipolar disorder rapidly increases,' 'dead from heavy drink at welcoming ceremony in university,' 'lonely death of a civil servant examinee'.
One day, I got on the subway. I saw an old woman selling vegetables on the subway passage floor was expelled by a public service worker and a missonary lady holding bible(The Revelation to John) on her hand just staring at it.
One day, I dreamed a dream - standing precariously at some very high place.
Some sentences constantly circled round in my head - "Life is a tale told by an idiot¡±, " You are all a lost generation¡±, ¡°It was nada y pues nada y pues nada¡± - The sentences I learned in my English literature classes in university. I wanted to connect the things I see and feel currently to the things I read in the past. Doing so, I wanted to find a path.
